Cas' cheering squad

Mid December, we woke up one Saturday morning with no soccer games, no basketball games, no birthday parties, and a sky full of sunshine.  We took advantage of the day with a family trip to a nearby park.

Our glamour girl in her shades -
She wants to do everything Collin does, but thankfully she normally recognizes when she needs help.
Lots of smiles from my tribe -
Cas took Collin to a rock climbing gym near our house, so he was eager to show off his skills at the park -
I learned that Cas trusts Maya more than I do when it comes to the tire swing - apparently they've practiced at our neighborhood park, and she can hold on no matter how big or spin-y the swing!
Shaky beam walking -
Our sweet big brother thrills his sister with pushes -
Our performer - she not only likes to dance and sing, she prefers an audience.
I made it into a shot -
Cas noticed a 20-something shooting basketball and they agreed to a one-on-one pick-up game.  Collin left the playground to cheer him on, and then when Maya joined him, the cheering intensified.  Cas was both embarrassed and delighted!
Maya interrupted a time or two to hug her daddy!
A rare "be careful" moment with Collin.  Our kindergartner is becoming quite daring - and while he normally tries feats he can successfully complete, they also tempt Maya to try the same thing which is less than ideal.
Happy to spend the morning with Daddy -
Pigtails make me want to squeal over the cuteness -
A morning full of sunshine, smiles, swings, soccer and small sports fans can't be beat!
