We have family Fridays at our elementary school, the one time a week where we can walk the children in to their classroom. But this Friday we left Maya behind and Collin and I participated in See You at the Pole - which was a quick 10 minute prayer session for our school, city and country. So when I got back home, Maya was ready for some one-on-one time. After making about 20 spin art designs while running through one set of paint, we headed to a nearby park.
Maya - who at points throughout the morning requested to be referred to as Belle or Cinderella - my camera and me. I took an obscene amount of photos of our happy, silly girl in between tickle attacks, swings, climbing and slides -
Showing off her strong muscles used to climb the caterpillar structure - Just climbing the wooden tower in her Belle dress, typical Friday -
Natural smiles on the slide -
Jungle gym climbing -
Playing peek-a-boo in a tunnel -
Superman swinging -
And jumping -
Posing before the jump -
Sometimes serious, sometimes silly -
Watching a baby -
Climbing up for her last slide -
Head full of sweaty curls -
Final leap off the slide -
Oh my Maya, you are just as happy as can be - and I love spending Friday morning with you -
